The journey began by selling boat shoes out a tiny window during the America’s Cup and never looked back. For over 35 years, Sole Desire has been providing the Newport community as the only current footwear store on Aquidneck Island.
With the focus on comfort and a passion for the fashion industry, Sole Desire has been able to provide the highest customer service coupled with on trend product from the biggest brands in the industry in all price ranges.
Awarded for more than 10 years as Aquidneck Islands “Best Footwear Store”, Sole Desire has also been awarded with the BSTA best Retailer of the Year in the Northeast in 2021.
One of the newest, single owned run specialty stores in the nation, Run Newport has been provided the running community support and comfort for over 5 years. With a community and comfort first philosophy, Run Newport is able to stand apart from other traditional running stores as we are able to put the customer first from the start to end of the selling process in a natural unpresuming manner.
